First Post: Building This Space
Hey there! This is my first journal post on this web app, and I'm pretty excited about it.
What I Built
Over the past few days, I’ve been coding this web app from scratch, a personal space for sharing my projects, experiments, thoughts, and whatever else I’m working on.
The tech stack includes:
- Next.js (App Router)
- Tailwind CSS for styling
- Prisma for the database ORM
- NextAuth for authentication
- shadcn/ui for components
Why I Built This
I wanted a place where I could fully customize how I showcase what I build, something that feels personal and evolving. This isn’t just a portfolio, it’s my own corner of the web where I can experiment, iterate, and grow over time.
I see myself as a detail-oriented person, especially when it comes to design and functionality. I want this site to meet the same standards I hold for all my projects, mobile-friendly, aesthetic, and intuitive. It’s important to me that everything I build feels polished and intentional.
Eventually, I’d love to turn this into a more complete platform for my ideas, adding features as I go. The best part of building it myself is that I can keep improving it whenever inspiration hits.
